Performance

Under the hood of every new Malibu is a 1.5-liter turbocharged I-4 engine that produces 163 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT (continuously variable transmission) and front-wheel drive. The Malibu is also an outstanding option for Monroe drivers who want to spend less money on gas, with an EPA-estimated combined fuel economy of 30 miles per gallon (27 miles per gallon in the city and 35 miles per gallon on the highway).

Technology & Safety

The Malibu infotainment system is anchored by a standard eight-inch infotainment touchscreen display. Standard wireless Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® let you connect your smartphone to the infotainment system with ease. 2024 Chevy Malibu Trim Levels

There are five Malibu trim levels for customers to consider:

  • LS: Includes standard turbocharged engine, 16-inch aluminum wheels, keyless entry and ignition, remote engine start, an eight-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay® and Apple CarPlay™, Chevy Safety Assist, and six speakers.

  • RS: Adds 18-inch wheels, a black grille and badging, a rear spoiler, dual-exhaust outlets, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a power-adjustable driver's seat.

  • LT: Builds on the LS, with 17-inch wheels, heated exterior mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, a power-adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats, rear passenger air vents, and satellite radio.

  • 2LT: Adds 19-inch wheels, LED headlights and taillights, ambient interior lighting, a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, driver's seat memory, built-in navigation, a wireless charging pad, and a nine-speaker Bose® premium audio system.
